VOLUNTEER
Corvallis Community Theatre is an all volunteer, non-profit 503c corporation. Our life is the heart beat of our volunteers. There are so many ways you can get involved and be part of the CCT family. If you haven't acted before, maybe you'd like to give it a go. If you're not a director wanting to submit a play, perhaps you'd like to learn stage management, light board operations or help back stage during peformances. If you have artistic talent, perhaps you'd like to help paint sets, create original poster art or dress up programs. If you're a musician, you could join the orchestra on CCT musicals or be part of pre-show entertainment. You could stuff envelopes, run a screwdriver, sew a gown, sweep the stage, brush an eyelash, hold a door, put up a poster, hold a ladder, hand out a ticket... it's all volunteers and every volunteer is important at Corvallis Community Theatre. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your theatre community and your community in general, and it's a great way to become a member of the CCT family.
AUDITION
Are you an experienced actor? No? Maybe you should be! That is what community theatre is all about, giving everyone with the desire and apptitude a chance to get their 15 seconds of fame. Corvallis Community Theatre has an open casting policy, meaning that anyone can audition for a show. You could be the singing lead in a well known musical, or you could be the quiet maid in a small murder mystery. Check out our upcoming season and find out where you can scratch that itch to get on the stage. It's a great way to stretch your wings and a great way to become a member of the CCT family.
